Meet Zoi Petrakou
Zoi Petrakou graduated from the Department of Mining Metallurgical Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, specialising in Materials. She then completed her Master's degree in Technology and Materials Science in the Chemical Engineering and Metallurgical Metallurgical Engineering program of NTUA. Her diploma thesis was entitled "Correlation of microstructure and magnetic properties in electrical steels, welded by the method of welding with a protective gas atmosphere (Tungsten Inert Gas, TIG). She also holds an IWE/EWE International Welding Engineer certification. She recently acquired her Master’s degree in Project Management from the Rome Business School.
Today, she works at AETHON as a Project Manager and manages and actively both European and national co-financed projects.
She has completed in the past postgraduate programs on Cultural Awareness, Agile Project Management, Data Analytics, Data Analysis and Visualizing Data using Excel, and Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 18001), ensuring high-quality standards in AETHON's deliverables and processes.

She works as a Project Manager, thus ensuring the smooth operation of the team, addressing issues, applying proper mitigation measures and contingency plans whenever necessary, and supervising all aspects of the project and specifically all tasks related to AETHON, from all aspects (from technical work to financial and technical reporting). She supervises and ensures proper quality control and assurance of all work conducted and facilitates all meetings and information exchanges between involved partners in the project, specifically in the context of WP2, removes obstacles and manages resources, work allocation, effort allocation and dissemination initiatives from the side of AETHON.
