Meet Alexeis Garcia Perez
Alexeis Garcia Perez brings significant academic and industry experience to the KEYSTONE project. He is a Professor of Digital Business & Society at Aston Business School, Aston University, specialising in AI, Knowledge Management, and enterprise innovation, with a strong focus on transport and logistics.
His research explores the sociotechnical and ethical implications of AI-driven transformation, aligning with KEYSTONE’s goal of fostering sustainable and efficient mobility through digital innovation. Alexeis has a background in Computer Science and holds a PhD in Information Systems and Knowledge Management. He is visiting professor at Coventry University and research scholar at Georgetown University.
Alexeis has co-authored five books and over 150 publications, securing research funding and collaborating with industry and policymakers to translate research into practical solutions that advance the transport and logistics sector.

Alexeis leads the teams delivering the following areas:
Understanding the state of the art and capturing requirements for KEYSTONE solutions, as Leader of WP1 and Task 1.1.
Ethics and data management, in the role of Ethics and Data Manager (WP7).
Alexeis also contributes to:
The analysis of the legislative framework for the gap analysis (Task 1.3);
The communication, dissemination, replicability and exploitation activities (WP6).
