Meet Adam Abukari

Dr Adam Abukari is an Assistant Professor in Law at the Centre for Financial and Corporate Integrity (CFCI) of Coventry University. Adam has been working on EU-funded projects at Coventry University since 2018 including PROTAX and TRACE. Adam’s current work mainly involves finding innovative solutions for financial and economic crimes, as well as energy security issues. Adam’s PhD was on the rule of law and justice.

His research interests include human rights, ethics, energy innovation and sustainable development as well as innovative strategies to counter illicit money flows and related crimes. Generally, Adam’s research is based on how interdisciplinary relations between law, business and development studies can harness and enhance societal security.

Adam supports the legal research cluster in forging and fostering data protection requirements, as well as societal impact, and legal and ethics assessment of the project.
