Meet Alexeis Garcia Perez

Alexeis Garcia Perez is a professor of digital business and society at Aston University and visiting professor at Coventry University and Georgetown University. He has a robust background in digital resilience in business and society, with particular emphasis on cybersecurity management. 

As a professor and research lead, he has an extensive track record of securing more than £10M in competitive funding, managing large-scale collaborative projects and delivering innovative solutions resulting in over 150 academic publications.

His engagement in cyber security initiatives with critical infrastructure sectors (e.g., transport, government, manufacturing) in the UK and internationally was summarised in the impact case "Towards a secure digital transformation of business and society", highly rated by the UK’s Research Excellence Framework in 2021.
