Meet Paulo Cantillano Lizana
Paulo Cantillano Lizana is a Transport Engineer with a global perspective, dedicated to driving sustainable urban mobility solutions. He holds a degree in Transport Engineering from PUCV in Chile and an MSc in System of Transport Engineering from Università La Sapienza in Italy. Paulo’s expertise spans diverse facets of urban transport, including optimising traffic light networks, enhancing and managing public transportation systems, shaping effective urban transport policies, and contributing to urban planning and logistics.
His professional journey has taken him across continents, from Chile to Australia, Russia, and presently Italy, enriching his understanding of transport challenges on a global scale. What truly fuels his drive is the pursuit of innovative concepts that promote the development of environmentally friendly transportation modes. Particularly, his focus lies in creating sustainable solutions for developing nations while addressing the transportation needs of vulnerable and marginalised groups. By leveraging my expertise, Paulo aims to make a tangible impact on shaping inclusive urban policies and fostering equitable access to transportation.

Paulo contributes to the KEYSTONE project by supporting the technical activities and assuring a liaison among the different WPs. He actively contributes to the research and analysis activities of the project, particularly concerning the definition of KEYSTONE's requirements and the formulation of methodologies useful in the impact assessment.
