Meet KEYSTONE at the Connecting Europe Days & TRA2024
The KEYSTONE project will take part in two upcoming events within the next weeks, including the Connecting Europe Days (CED) 2024 on 2-5 April 2024 in Brussels, Belgium and the Transport Research Arena (TRA) 2024 on 15-18 April 2024 in Dublin, Ireland. From 2-5 April 2024, KEYSTONE will be present at the upcoming Connecting Europe Days at the Square Meeting Center in Brussels, Belgium.
The event is organised by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Mobility and Transport together with the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU and serves as a platform for stakeholders across Europe to discuss and collaborate on key issues related to transport connectivity and infrastructure on the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T).
The overreaching aim is to foster dialogue, share best practices, drive innovation in transport, and ultimately contribute to achieving the ambitious goals set out in the European Green Deal and the Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy.
KEYSTONE will be present among 70 other exhibitors, with a dedicated stand N°17, represented by project partners Aethon Engineering and CIM-Interporto di Novarra throughout the event, showcasing the project’s progress in developing a seamless, interoperable, and intermodal digital transport ecosystem that can be replicated at the European level.
On 3 April 2024, a pitch speech will be delivered by Aethon Engineering to present how KEYSTONE activities are developing tailor-standardized digital solutions that can be utilised across various contexts to standardize the transport system.

From 15 to 18 April 2024, the KEYSTONE project will be present at the upcoming Transport Research Arena Conference (TRA) in Dublin, Ireland.
TRA is the largest European research and technology conference on transport and mobility. Themed “Advancing Sustainable and Inclusive Mobility”, the conference brings together experts from around the world to discuss the newest innovations and the future of mobility and transport and also will provide a shared opportunity to push the boundaries of what we know and to chart new territories in transport research.
KEYSTONE, during the TRA 2024 in Dublin, will be featured at the ALICE booth – ALICE Logistics Innovation Village, stand N°12, showcasing how KEYSTONE activities are redefining transport, paving the way for the digitisation of the transport logistics sector.
Additionally, KEYSTONE will be present at two distinct sessions of the conference agenda:
Tuesday, 16 April 2024, Mr Andrea Condotta from Consortium Partner Gruber Logistics will take part in the Special Session 2.3 on “Logistics Decarbonisation Champions”.
Wednesday, 17 April 2024, Dr Giulia Renzi from Project Coordinator University of Modena and Reggio Emilia (UNIMORE) will take part in the Poster Session 4.3 on “Transport Data Sharing” and present a paper entitled “Knowledgeable comprehensive and fully integrated smart solution for resilient, sustainable and optimized transport operations”. In the same session, Mr Marco Comerio and Mr Mario Scrocca from Cefriel will present their research as well.
