Meet Aurelio Melgosa

Mr Aurelio Melgosa has been a member of the Spanish Civil Guard Traffic Group (Agrupación de Tráfico de la Guardia Civil) since 2009 and has been assigned to the Traffic School of the Civil Guard performing the following professional tasks:

His activities are focused on teaching, advising, monitoring and updating all the Spanish Police Corps, as well as different Internacional Police Corps in subjects of Road Safety, merchandise and passenger Transport, Tachograph and dangerous goods transport and safety in lashing goods.

Throughout his career, Mr Melgosa has actively participated in diverse training and advisory activities. He has also contributed to numerous national and international collaboration projects with various Spanish and international organizations, including FIIAPP, the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), Euro Contrôle Route, Roadpol (formerly TISPOL), the Spanish Ministry of Transport, the Spanish General Directorate of Traffic, the National Gendarmerie of Algeria, the International Police Association, Menéndez Pelayo International University, Carlos III University of Madrid, among others. His engagements have taken him to numerous countries, including Morocco, Algeria, the Palestinian National Authority, Lebanon, Ukraine, Germany, Italy, Luxembourg, France, and Portugal. He speaks English and French.
