Meet Leonardo Domanico
Gennaro is an accomplished chartered transport engineer with several years of international experience in land development planning, sustainable transport planning, traffic engineering, and the design and evaluation of smart mobility solutions.
He is an experienced project management professional who has been playing a crucial role in preparing successful bids (under a range of National and European Commission’s funding programmes) and leading Tasks and Work Packages of National/EU R&D projects relating to sustainable transport and intelligent mobility. In 2021, he was also awarded a National expert engineering qualification in transport planning and infrastructures by the National Engineering Council’s Agency for the Certification of Competence of Engineers.
His project-based experience includes thorough feasibility studies for strategic transport investments; big data analyses for transport and mobility; impact assessments and socio-economic evaluations; evidence-based transport policy recommendations; and the design of novel business models for shared mobility, MaaS, C-ITS and autonomous vehicles.

Gennaro coordinates TTS’ activities and responsibilities within KEYSTONE ensuring work is timely delivered under expected quality standards. In addition to ensuring the establishment of the KEYSTONE innovation & Knowledge Sharing Community, specific tasks he will lead and implement with the support of his technical team include Task 5.4 (development of guidelines for stakeholders and operators), and Task 6.3 (replicability analysis of KEYSTONE solutions).
