Meet Lorenzo Valletta

I have studied Sociology at the Sapienza University of Rome, and have been approaching the ITS sector to analyse the new mobility needs, the behavioural changes and the impact assessment of the new mobility systems in everyday life; the main aspect of interest is the implementation of the Autonomous Vehicles and the possible scenarios they bring to society. Working on behalf of TTS Italia, the Italian ITS Association, I’m currently engaged in several European-funded projects and proposals, as well as National projects and activities.

Within KEYSTONE…

Lorenzo works along with his colleagues on the two tasks in which TTS Italia is involved, respectively: the development of guidelines for stakeholders and operators (task 5.4); furthermore, he will join the TTS Italia team in the drafting of a white paper that will include a set of multi-layered restrictions, gaps and opportunities for the establishment of regulatory and policy framework supporting the large-scale deployment of digital transport ecosystems allowing for standardisation of transport operations; furthermore, he will participate in the managing of the KEYSTONE innovation & Knowledge Sharing Community creation, which will expose the results and achievements of KEYSTONE to the multi-stakeholder community for the replicabilty task (6.3).

Lastly, Lorenzo will be the main contact person for both online and in-person meetings.
