The CIM spa Interporto di Novara and the transport company Gruber Logistics are the 'pilots' of an experimental initiative of the European Union.

The KEYSTONE plan was the subject of the analysis of twenty-two managers from all over the continent who met on Tuesday, 28 November 2023, at CIM spa Interporto di Novara headquarters for a round table in which the quaestor of Novara, Alessandra Faranda Cortella, also participated.
A vehicle arrives in Novara carried by a train, is unloaded and starts to travel the motorway in the direction of the port of Genoa: the new KEYSTONE system aims to find a key for dialogue between all the computer systems to record the times of the journey, the regularity of the transport documents of the goods but also of the vehicle and the driver, inform the customs and the point of destination of the arrival and the checks to be carried out.
“This is the first digital system that is also focusing on supervisory authorities and law enforcement” explains Mr Massimo Arnese, ICT Manager at CIM spa Interporto di Novara & CEO of Crosstec SRL, a company controlled by CIM.
